KAto Kaelin

america's most famous houseguest

This is one of those times where I had an idea for a photoshoot, before I had even met the client. With the dawn of the 30th anniversary of the OJ Simpson murder trial, it dawned on me that Kato would probably be doing quite a lot of press and appearances, of which, I'm sure he was going to need some premium photos for. I approached him with my idea, and he was all in. Figured we could get some "OJ" related photos, as well as other photos he can use for his podcast, appearances, etc.

The one image I was determined to get, was a photo of the key to the very guesthouse he lived in at OJ's Rockingham mansion. This key has never been photographed before, so I just had to be the first. I wanted something simple, but dramatic (as I often do). And must say, I think we accomplished it.

The studio was sweltering at 94 degrees, but Kato never complained—though I certainly did! His energy and creativity made for a really successful shoot. His energy, positivity and creativity led to what was a very successful shoot. He was accompanied by his wife, who just passed her realtor's exam, so figured, may as well knock out her headshots for that too!

Kato was an absolute joy to work with, despite the hot conditions.
