I had this compelling idea for Fred's photoshoot that I simply couldn't resist bringing to life. It involved capturing his iconic role from Dumb & Dumber, where he's punched in the face through a telephone booth. However, this time, I envisioned him as the victor. The first step was to find a period telephone from the 90s, preferably from an actual phonebooth. After some searching, I stumbled upon one on eBay, but it was still attached to the booth itself. Fortunately, the seller went above and beyond to accommodate my request—they not only removed the phone (with the cord hanging down as if it was ripped from the booth, just as I envisioned), but also provided a second phone for free as a backup. Remarkably, they even hand-delivered it to me in LA over a cup of coffee.

For the shoot, I had Fred dress in a suit, although in hindsight, I wish I had brought a trench coat along to make it a bit more screen-accurate. That was a small oversight on my part! Nevertheless, we managed to capture the shot we envisioned, and it now proudly hangs in my gallery at home.

KIND WORDS

"Aaron captured the best pictures I've ever had taken, and he did it so swiftly. He was a pleasure to work with."
